Parsley Bay

Parsley Bay lies between Vaucluse Bay and Watsons Bay, and is a narrow inlet of Sydney Harbour. How Parsley Bay got its name is unsure, but it is believed to have originated from the edible plant found there. Parsley Bay is open and accessible at all times. This is one of largest swimming areas of the Harbour with a shark-proof net laid at the end of the bay. People come here for picnics as there are ample areas suited for this. They also come here for fishing. Fishing off the rocks is another of the attractions of Parsley Bay. There is a suspension bridge across the bay, which is one of the most charming features of Parsley Bay.
