Hermit Bay

Hermit Bay is a cozy, secluded area enclosed by the Nielsen Park on the north and the residential area on the South and the Strickland House and the park surrounding it on the inland side. The almost hidden beach is popular for topless sunbathing.

Tahiti, a house built in the Hawaiian style and located in the tropical gardens above Hermit Bay, was sold out in September 2007 to the Krok brothers from South Africa for over $29 million. This was an Australian residential record.
