Sydney Wildlife World is a recently opened wildlife sanctuary on Darling Harbour, Sydney, which is a treasure trove of the unique flora and the unusual fauna of Australia. Every visitor steps into this sanctuary of Australia's wonderful natural heritage hoping for a sweet encounter with the cutest of Australia's national icons, the koala, and more often than not he or she is not disappointed. Sydney Wildlife World preserves nine natural habitats and eco systems to house more than 6000 animals. The frilled-neck lizards, the taipans and the bilbies are some of the inhabitants of Sydney Wildlife World along with the yellow-footed rock wallabies and the cassowaries.
