Katoomba Scenic Railway
The Katoomba Scenic Railway is the steepest railway in the world according to Guinness Book of Records. The cable railway line descends the Blue Mountains in a steep drop of 415 metres through a rock tunnel in the sandstone cliffs. The Katoomba Scenic Railway used to be part of the Katoomba mining tramways of constructed during the late 1800's.
