The Barbecue Madness Lunch weekend marks the beginning of the festival on October 3. Different dining cultures, varied culinary expertise and diverse exotic flavours of the assorted treats will be the highlights of the World Chef Showcase Weekend. This event starting on October 9 through 11, 2009 will bring together the world's best 30 chefs and their culinary skills from different corners of the world. The other popular events include Let's Do Lunch, where the well-known restaurants in and around Sydney offer exclusive meal and beverage packages, the Sydney Morning Herald Growers' Market, which offers their products of fine quality and flavour, Hats Off Dinners that provide themed dinners full of diverse fun and fine food, and the Night Noodle Markets. The harbour, again, provides several other exciting cruising options inclusive of fun, food and entertainment.
